Punjab Police Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said the preliminary investigation indicates that the key accused is connected to Pakistan based handlers and was coordinating the distribution of heroin across the region.
“An FIR has been registered under the NDPS Act. The investigation is ongoing to identify cross-border handlers, trace supply routes, and dismantle the entire network,” DGP Yadav said in a post on X.
