Minister Rana interacts with delegations at Nawa-e-Subha 

Underscores public welfare as top priority of Omar govt 

 

Srinagar, 07 Jan: Senior Party leader and Cabinet Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmad Rana Wednesday visited the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, where he held extensive interactions with several group and individual delegations from different parts of the region.

During the visit, the delegations apprised the Minister of a range of public issues concerning drinking water supply, environmental protection, forest-related matters, tribal welfare, and other pressing civic and developmental concerns. The delegations also highlighted local grievances related to infrastructure, public services, and administrative bottlenecks affecting day-to-day life.

The Minister listened patiently to the issues raised and assured the delegations that their concerns would be addressed on priority. Javed Ahmad Rana immediately took up several matters with the concerned administrative authorities and issued on-the-spot directions for timely redressal. He emphasized the need for responsive governance and stressed that public welfare remains the foremost priority of the party and the government.

Speaking on the occasion Javed Ahmad Rana said, “The issues faced by the people are our responsibility, and their resolution cannot be delayed. We are committed to ensuring that governance is accessible, responsive, and focused on delivering tangible relief to every section of society.”

The delegations expressed satisfaction over the Minister’s prompt intervention and thanked him for his attentive hearing and swift action. The visit concluded with a renewed assurance that genuine public grievances would continue to receive immediate attention and effective solutions.

Party’s Provincial President Adv Mir Showkat, District President Srinagar Peer Afaq Ahmad, Provincial Secretary Syed Tawqeer Ahmad, YNC Provincial President Mushtaq Mir and other party functionaries were also present on the occasion.
