PM Modi: Self-Confidence Makes Everything Possible
Prime Minister says citizen self belief will help achieve the dream of Viksit Bharat
NEW DELHI, Feb 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday emphasised that self-confidence is a force that makes everything achievable and plays a crucial role in realising the vision of a developed India.
Posting on X in Hindi, Modi said, “Self confidence is that power with the help of which everything is possible.” He added that this inner strength of citizens will be instrumental in fulfilling the dream of Viksit Bharat.
Modi also shared a Sanskrit couplet highlighting the importance of righteous action in generating wealth. He explained, “Wealth grows with courage and self confidence, remains stable through skill and efficiency, and, when safeguarded by discipline, contributes to the progress of the nation.”
The remarks came shortly after India and the US announced a trade deal, under which Washington will reduce reciprocal tariffs on Indian goods from 25 per cent to 18 per cent.
