Raveena Tandon Responds to Claims Rasha Thadani Used ‘Uyi Amma’ to Spark PR Rivalries with Star Kids

Raveena Tandon Dismisses PR Allegations Around Rasha Thadani’s ‘Uyi Amma’

Mumbai, Feb 16 : Actor Raveena Tandon has addressed speculation surrounding her daughter Rasha Thadani after online chatter suggested that the buzz around the song ‘Uyi Amma’ was fuelled by a calculated campaign targeting other star kids.

Rasha Thadani PR rumours dismissed

The controversy began soon after Rasha’s dance track ‘Uyi Amma’ gained traction online. While many viewers praised her confidence and screen presence, social media discussions soon turned into comparisons with other newcomers from film families.

Amid escalating fan debates, some users alleged that negative commentary about other celebrity children was being deliberately circulated to elevate Rasha’s image.

Breaking her silence during a recent podcast appearance, Raveena firmly rejected the claims. She stated that neither her daughter nor their team engages in planting stories or running malicious publicity strategies. According to her, many of the young actors being dragged into the debate are children of close friends, making such allegations baseless and hurtful.

Social media comparisons spark debate

Raveena emphasised that the situation snowballed due to online speculation rather than any organised campaign. She remarked that admiration for one newcomer quickly transformed into toxic comparisons, eventually spiralling into accusations without evidence.

Rasha made her acting debut with Azaad, directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Although the film struggled commercially, her dance performance in ‘Uyi Amma’ drew significant attention and praise for its energy and poise.

What’s next for Rasha

The young actor is now preparing for her next project, Laikey Laikaa, where she stars opposite Abhay Verma. Expanding her creative portfolio, she has also lent her voice to the track ‘Chaap Tilak’ for the film, collaborating with IP Singh and music duo Faridkot.

Despite online speculation, the family has maintained that there is no organised PR battle at play only the amplified noise of digital fandom culture.
