NIA Searches Srinagar Home of Former Govt Official in J&K

Srinagar, Feb 17 : The NIA Srinagar raid was carried out on Tuesday as the National Investigation Agency searched the residence of a retired government employee in connection with a terrorism related case registered in 2024.

Officials said the search operation took place at the Mehjoor Nagar home of Nazir Ahmad Bhat in the city. Teams of the federal agency conducted the proceedings as part of the ongoing probe.

Authorities indicated that further information would be shared once the operation concludes, as the searches were still in progress at the time of reporting.
