New Delhi, Feb 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the India AI Impact Expo 2026 as a dynamic coming together of vision, technology and purpose, highlighting the country’s growing leadership in Artificial Intelligence for global benefit.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the multi day event at Bharat Mandapam, where over 600 emerging ventures and 13 international country pavilions are presenting cutting edge advancements and collaborative initiatives in the AI ecosystem.
In a post on X, Modi said the exhibition reflected the remarkable capabilities of Indian innovators in shaping the future of AI for worldwide good. He emphasised that the gathering reinforced India’s resolve to deploy Artificial Intelligence in a responsible, inclusive and scalable manner aimed at human progress.
The sprawling showcase spans more than 70,000 square metres and is structured across 10 themed arenas. It brings together global technology leaders, startups, academic institutions, research bodies, Union ministries, state governments and international stakeholders.
Thirteen country pavilions including participation from Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan and Africa underline the expanding global cooperation in AI-driven innovation.
More than 300 curated exhibits and live demonstrations are organised around three thematic pillars: people, planet and progress. The platform is also spotlighting hundreds of high potential startups developing population scale and globally relevant solutions, many of which are already operational in real-world environments.
