Sonu Sood Offers Free Stay to Travellers Stranded in Dubai Amid US-Israel-Iran Conflict
Actor shares viral video message inviting stranded passengers of any nationality to contact him for safe, no cost stay during flight disruptions.
Mumbai, Mar 05 : Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has come forward to help travellers stranded in Dubai as the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran continues to disrupt international travel. With multiple flights cancelled and airspace restrictions in place across parts of the Middle East, many passengers have been left unable to leave the Gulf city or afford extended accommodation.
Responding to the growing crisis, Sood posted a video message on his social media platforms offering free accommodation to people stuck in Dubai until they can safely return to their home countries.
In the widely shared clip, the actor assured travellers that the offer is open to everyone, regardless of nationality. “Anyone stranded in Dubai because of the current situation has a place to stay. We will make sure you receive free accommodation,” he said.
Addressing viewers in both English and Hindi to reach a broader audience, Sood urged those in need to contact him directly. “Jo bhi log Dubai mein phase hue hain, chahe Hindustani ho ya kisi bhi nationality ke ho, mujhe DM kijiye. We will make sure you get a free-of-cost stay till you reach your country,” he said in the message.
In the caption accompanying the video, the actor reiterated the humanitarian nature of the initiative. He wrote that the war has left many travellers without shelter and invited those in difficulty to message him on Instagram for assistance, emphasising that the help is being provided “without nationality or conditions.”
Sood’s gesture has received widespread appreciation online, with many users praising the actor for stepping in during a difficult situation for stranded passengers.
The actor had previously gained recognition for his large-scale relief work during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he organised transportation, food supplies and medical assistance for migrant workers and people in distress across India.
Meanwhile, some Indian celebrities who were caught in the travel disruptions in Dubai including actors Esha Gupta and Sonal Chauhan have reportedly returned safely to India after flight services resumed on certain routes.
