PM Modi Hails Achievements of India’s ‘Nari Shakti’ on Women’s Day
Prime Minister says women’s empowerment remains central to government initiatives on International Women’s Day.
New Delhi, Mar 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended greetings to women across the country on the occasion of International Women’s Day, praising their contributions to India’s growth and describing their accomplishments as a matter of national pride.
In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister acknowledged the role of women in driving progress across diverse sectors, highlighting their determination, innovation and dedication in shaping the nation’s development.
Modi said the empowerment of women continues to remain a key focus of the government, with several initiatives aimed at expanding opportunities and enabling women to realise their full potential.
He noted that the aspirations and efforts of women will play an increasingly important role as the country moves forward on its path of development.
Emphasising their importance in nation-building, the Prime Minister said the contributions of women strengthen India’s collective resolve to move towards the vision of a developed and prosperous nation.
