Officials said the weather is likely to remain generally cloudy till Thursday, with light to moderate rainfall in the plains and snowfall in higher altitude areas at scattered to many places across the region.

The department indicated that a short dry spell is expected on March 13 and 14, offering temporary relief from the ongoing wet conditions.
