Kendra Duggar Faces Charges After Husband Joseph Duggar’s Arrest
Both face multiple counts of endangering welfare of a minor and false imprisonment as authorities continue probe
India, Mar 21 : Amid the arrest of Joseph Duggar, his wife Kendra Duggar is now also facing legal action in connection with the ongoing criminal investigation. Arkansas police announced that both Joseph, 31, and Kendra, 27, have been charged with multiple offenses.
According to the Tontitown Police Department, the couple faces four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor in the second degree and four counts of false imprisonment in the second degree. Arrest warrants for these misdemeanor charges have been issued and served through the District Court. Authorities emphasized that the investigation remains “active and ongoing” and that Arkansas law restricts public disclosure of sensitive details involving minors.
Joseph Duggar was arrested on March 18 by Arkansas authorities following allegations of sexual assault of a minor in Florida. The alleged incident reportedly occurred in 2020 in Panama City Beach, Florida, where Joseph is accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl. While he resides in Arkansas, the case is being handled in Florida where the alleged acts took place.
Joseph and Kendra Duggar, who married in 2017 and appeared on the family reality franchise 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On, are now both subject to ongoing legal proceedings as authorities continue to investigate.
