NEW DELHI: Shubman Gill blended performance with personality as Gujarat Titans secured a convincing victory over Chennai Super Kings, later sharing a warm “Nandri Chennai” message while holding the iconic yellow whistle  a light hearted tribute to the Chepauk crowd.
On the pitch, Gujarat executed a near flawless run chase, overhauling a target of 159 with remarkable ease and finishing the contest with more than three overs remaining. The approach was measured yet assertive, reflecting the side’s growing confidence this season.
The innings was anchored by Sai Sudharsan, who delivered an outstanding display of timing and placement. His 87 off 46 balls combined elegance with controlled aggression, ensuring the chase never drifted off course.
