03-03-2021: Chamber of Commerce & Industry demanded foolproof Security for business community living across J&K UT. It is pertinent to mention that Office Bearers of Chamber of Commerce & Industry led by its President Sh. Arun Gupta today visited the residence of Sh. Akash Mehra succumbed to injuries after being shot at by terrorists in Srinagar and condoled the tragic demise with the bereaved family. Akash was the son of the owner of Srinagar’s popular eatery named Krishna Dhaba.

While expressing grief Sh. Arun Gupta condemned the horrendous act of ultras just to make news as on the same day foreign envoys were in the Union Territory. He said the government should take strict measures to protect the business community living across length and breadth of J&K UT so that they could lead a fearless life with no threat of terror at all. Sh. Arun Gupta said that there is no doubt in it that the security forces are doing a commendable job in curtailing the graph of militancy in the UT of J&K but such incidents create fear among the masses. Mr. Gupta hoped that the UT Government should take all the possible measures in cutting down such types of incidents.
