Prime Minister prays for prosperity, health and harmony on the occasion of Bakrid
NEW DELHI, May 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday conveyed warm wishes to people across the country on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, expressing hope that the festival strengthens unity, peace and joy in society.
Eid-ul-Azha, also known as Bakrid, is being observed in several parts of India with religious fervour and traditional celebrations.
In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister wished for the well-being and prosperity of citizens and highlighted the importance of mutual harmony and togetherness during the festival.
“Eid ul-Adha greetings! May this occasion deepen the spirit of brotherhood and happiness in our society. Praying for everyone’s success and good health,” Modi posted.
