Central University of Kashmir Declares 10-Day Summer Vacation
Classes for odd semesters to resume from July 13 after scheduled academic break
SRINAGAR, May 29:The Central University of Kashmir has announced a 10-day summer vacation for students and faculty members from July 1 to July 10, 2026, as part of the institution’s approved academic calendar for the 2026–27 session.
According to an official circular issued by the Assistant Registrar of Academic Affairs, academic activities for odd semesters will resume on July 13 following the completion of the scheduled break.
The university administration clarified that the online registration process for odd semesters will continue during the vacation period without interruption in accordance with the previously notified timetable.
Officials said students are advised to complete registration formalities within the prescribed schedule to avoid any inconvenience after the reopening of the university.
The announcement comes as educational institutions across the Kashmir Valley prepare for summer scheduling adjustments amid seasonal weather conditions and academic planning for the new session.
