Mumbai, Aug 03 : Marvel Studios has added another blockbuster to its record books as “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” surpassed USD 900 million in worldwide box office collections during its opening weekend. The superhero spectacle, led by Tom Holland and Zendaya, has emerged as one of the strongest theatrical debuts of the year.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film officially hit cinemas on Friday, bringing Holland back as Peter Parker, better known as Spider-Man, alongside Zendaya, who reprises her role as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson. According to industry reports, the film has already generated approximately USD 927 million globally, reflecting overwhelming audience response across international markets.
