NEW DELHI, Aug 12: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday declared the Class 12 supplementary examination results for 2026, giving students another opportunity to improve their academic outcomes or clear subjects in which they could not secure the required marks.
According to the results, 2,91,576 students had registered for the examination, while 2,75,287 candidates appeared. Of those who took the examination, 1,64,231 students were from the compartment category and 1,11,056 appeared to improve their performance.
The pass percentage among compartment candidates stood at 53.08 per cent, marking a significant improvement over the 38.36 per cent recorded last year.
Students can access their results through the official CBSE result portal and the board’s website. Digital marksheets are also available through DigiLocker and the UMANG platform.
Candidates are required to enter details such as their roll number, admit card number and school number to access their marksheets online.
The board has advised students to carefully verify the information mentioned in their result documents. Any discrepancy in personal or academic details should be brought to the notice of the concerned authorities for correction.
