MUMBAI, Aug 30: Actor Kartik Aaryan is set to begin filming his upcoming project ‘Captain India’ in London next month, marking the start of production on the much anticipated film directed by Shimit Amin.
According to reports, the shoot is scheduled to commence on September 1 and is expected to continue through October. The project brings together Aaryan and Amin, who is known for directing the acclaimed sports drama ‘Chak De! India’.
‘Captain India’ is being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series along with Baweja Studios and Dopamine Studios. The film is being handled by SB Films.
The project has generated interest following the announcement of Amin’s return to feature-film direction. His previous work has earned recognition for its character-driven storytelling and strong narrative treatment.
For Aaryan, the film adds another major project to his upcoming slate as the actor continues to explore different genres and larger-scale productions.
