LOS ANGELES, Aug. 31: Hollywood actor Anne Hathaway is set to join Tom Cruise in the upcoming sequel to the 1990 racing film Days of Thunder, bringing together two major stars for a new chapter in the franchise.
Hathaway’s casting adds fresh momentum to the project, which will see Cruise return as NASCAR driver Cole Trickle. The sequel is being developed decades after the original film, which was directed by Tony Scott and starred Cruise alongside Nicole Kidman.
