Haiwaan gets U/A 16+ certificate
Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan return to the big screen together after 17 years in Priyadarshan's upcoming action drama.
MUMBAI, Sep 9: Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming film Haiwaan has received a U/A 16+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification ahead of its theatrical release on September 11.
Directed by Priyadarshan, the action drama marks the reunion of Akshay and Saif on the big screen after a gap of 17 years. The two actors previously appeared together in several popular films, making their latest collaboration a much-awaited release for Bollywood audiences.
The film also features Boman Irani, Sharib Hashmi, Saiyami Kher and Shriya Pilgaonkar in important roles.
The certification has cleared the way for the movie’s scheduled theatrical release, with expectations building around its action packed storyline and the combination of its lead actors.
Priyadarshan’s direction and the reunion of Akshay and Saif have further added to the buzz surrounding the project as it heads into its opening weekend.
