Harvard Executive Education Courses to Begin in Hyderabad
Telangana government says the initiative will strengthen international academic collaboration and expand professional learning opportunities.
Hyderabad, Sep 19 : Hyderabad is set to host executive education programmes from Harvard University beginning in December 2026, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced on September 18.
The announcement followed a meeting between the Telangana government and a delegation representing UK business schools and universities at the Dr Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Institute in Hyderabad.
According to the announcement, the initiative is part of Telangana’s broader efforts to expand international academic partnerships and develop the state as a global centre for education and skills. India Today
The proposed collaboration comes alongside discussions involving several international institutions. The state government has indicated that partnerships could cover areas such as executive education, dual degree programmes, faculty development and research.
Telangana is also working on plans for an Education Hub in Bharat Future City, which is envisioned as a platform bringing together universities, industries and research organisations. The government has invited international academic institutions to participate in these initiatives.
While specific details about the courses to be offered by Harvard in Hyderabad, including programmes, eligibility requirements and admission procedures, have not yet been announced, the planned launch is expected to provide opportunities for professionals and other learners seeking executive-level academic programmes.
The development marks another step in Telangana’s efforts to increase international participation in its higher education and professional learning ecosystem.
