DDMA Kishtwar approves 12 relief cases under SDRF norms

KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 03: District Disaster Management Committee Kishtwar today approved 12 relief cases in favour of the disaster-affected persons here at its meeting chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner, (ADDC) Kishtwar Sham Lal.

The committee also cleared 69 cases of crop damage, 54 cases of land loss & 244 cases of loss of land due to desilting of agricultural land under SDRF norms.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy  Commissioner   Kishori Lal Sharma; SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Singh Parihar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Akhter Hussain Qazi; SDM Marwah Dr. Mohsin Raza; Chief Agriculture Officer S K Bhagat; Tehsildars besides others concerned.

A total of 17 relief cases were received from concerned Tehsildars and after examining each case 12 relief cases for damage to houses and cowsheds were approved. The house also cleared crop damages and land loss cases in Tehsil Dachhan, Marwah, Chatroom, Bounjwah, and Drabshalla due to floods, landslides, and other natural calamities.
