Soaring prices of fuel, gas and groceries have wrecked common household’s budget: Mahila Panthers

Over 20 women join Panthers Party

Jammu, 17-09-2021: Acknowledging the struggle of Panthers Party for upholding the rights of women and persistently raising its voice against raging inflation besides soaring prices of fuel and cooking gas, over 20 women introduced by Mrs. Neeru Suryavanshi joined JKNPP in presence of Mrs. Manju Singh General Secretary-JKNPP, Mrs. Anita Choudhary State Secretary Mahila Panthers and Mrs. Sonika Randhawa President (Gandhi Nagar) Mahila Panthers.

Addressing the new entrants into the party fold, Mrs. Manju Singh lambasted the BJP for its hypocrisy over the raging inflation with the steep rise in fuel and LPG prices. She reminded that while the BJP was in opposition, its front-line leaders wasted no time to lodge a series of protest demonstrations at every nook and corner of the country against the price rise. But now when the Saffron party having been in power, the fuel prices had peaked all-time high and broken all records with none of its Ministers uttering a word over the soaring prices, she added. She maintained that NPP shall agitate on every nook and corner of Jammu Pradesh to oppose and expose the BJP for its duplicity, deceit, and betrayals.

While expressing her gratitude to the Party leaders, Mrs. Neeru Suryavanshi asserted that the soaring price of fuel has led to the steep rise in transportation fares which in turn had also turned other essential commodities dearer. “The astounding rates of vegetables and other essential commodities have shattered the budget of a common household”, she revealed. Anguished over the sky-rocketing prices of groceries, she pointed out that prices of almost all the essentials including mustard oil, pulses, and cereals had risen by an appalling rate, she regretted.

Mahila Panthers asked the GoI to immediately come up with the measures to control inflation of petrol and agri-products to provide relief to the common man against the spiraling prices of fuel, gas, staple vegetables, and essential commodities.

Prominent among those who joined Panthers Party included Chander Rekha, Santosh Kumari, Suman Devi, Pravesh Kumari, Uma Devi, Sinder Kumari, Damini, Geeta Devi, Amit, Aniket besides others.
