BDO Harwan Sunobar Jamil organises clean India drive

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 01: On the first day of the Clean India program, a cleanliness drive was today carried out at the tourist place of Padshapal of panchayat Halqa Faqir Gujree of block Harwan.

The cleanliness drive was organized by Block Development Office, Harwan, and was flagged by the Block Development officer, Sunobar Jamil.

Among others,  PRIs, the general public, and block officials participated in the programme.

The participants collected waste material, single-use plastic- bottles, wrappers, packaging material for proper disposal besides cleaned several other places.

While speaking on the occasion, BDO Harwan said that it is the collective responsibility of all citizens to keep their surroundings clean so that general health hygiene shall be maintained.

The BDO emphasized the participants to encourage friends, youth, and the general public to take part in Clean India Drive.
