Sushant committed suicide, wasn’t murdered: AIIMS panel informs CBI
Panel seconds opinion of Mumbai hospital that conducted the post-mortem of Sushant and found “asphyxia due to hanging” the cause of death
The AIIMS panel entrusted by the CBI with re-examining the viscera and post-mortem reports of actor Sushant Singh Rajput has said that the actor died by suicide and was not murdered.
The AIIMS panel has reportedly seconded the opinion of the Mumbai hospital that conducted the post-mortem of Sushant and found “asphyxia due to hanging” the cause of death.
Now that the AIIMS has ruled out any possibility of murder, either through poisoning or strangulation, as alleged by some of Sushant’s colleagues and fans or as speculated on social media posts, the CBI will now probe the angle of “abetment to suicide,” a charge originally listed by the Bihar police.
Incidentally, Vikas Singh, the family lawyer of Sushant claimed last week that a doctor on the AIIMS panel told him that the actor was strangulated.
“Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to murder of SSR,the doctor who is part of AIIMS had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200 per cent that it’s death by strangulation and not suicide,” he had tweeted.
