Pledge on Good Governance administered to staff, other stakeholders

RAMBAN, April 15: Department of Rural Development and Panchyati Raj Ramban reinforce various activities under Gram Swaraj celebrations regarding the adoption of 100 points programme in all panchayats of the district.

During the Gram Swaraj celebration, pledge regarding good governance were administered to Staff and other stakeholders in various panchayat of the district.

Meanwhile, officers of RDD interacted with children during child friendly week under Gram Sawraj Month. They also interacted with PRI Members at Ramsoo to discuss various panchayat related issues to achieve 100 points agenda under Gram Sawraj Month.

The Gram Swaraj month celebration activities were also conducted in various panchayats of the district in which PRIs, officers from Rural Development and other line departments besides the general public participated. Various issues pertaining to development of rural areas were discussed besides conducting plantation and cleanliness drives in prominent places of the panchyats.

On the occasion, officers of RDD sensitize the people about Swaach Gram and adoption of Sustainable Development Goals indicators for this year under 100 Point Agenda.
