Kavinder, Rajkumar, Neena kick-start tubewell work worth Rs 1.66 cr at Channi Himmat
JAMMU, June 26: The BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has established new paradigms for progress in Jammu and Kashmir by providing vistas of opportunities to people belonging to all shades of life and setting up world-class infrastructure to augment facilities for the common man.
This was stated by Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader, and former Deputy Chief Minister while kick-started work of Tubewell at Channi Himmat with an estimated cost of Rs 1.66 crore. On the occasion, Rajkumar Tarkhan, Chairman of Public Health and Sanitation Committee, JMC, and Neena Gupta Corporator Ward No.50 were also present.
In his address, Kavinder said that BJP believes in ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas and Sabka Vishwas’ as a result of which the party has been progressing by leaps and bounds with each passing day. He said that it is the performance of the party and its government on the ground, especially in terms of development that speaks for itself. He also stated that this tubewell will supply water to at least 20 thousand dwellers in the area.
Kavinder stated that he is very much impressed by Rajkumar Tarkhan for his loyal work for the welfare of the general public.
Kavinder said that the Union Govt led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a series of schemes for the common people across the nation. He said that these schemes cover every section of the society including the old age people who figure among the priorities of the government.
While briefly making the people aware of various schemes, Kavinder asserted that the BJP workers and activist workers are leaving no stone unturned in making the people aware of various schemes launched by the government besides highlighting its achievements. He appealed to the people to come forward and avail the benefit of the schemes best suited to them.
Rajkumar Tarkhan, in his address, said that BJP believes in the overall development of every nook and corner of the nation and the people of this Union Territory can easily feel the difference with development works going on at an unprecedented pace. He appealed to the people to strengthen the hands of the PM for the overall development, peace, and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
