DC Jammu reviews implementation of PM Kisan Scheme; data uploading, writing & digitisation of Jamabandies

JAMMU, AUGUST 31: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Avni Lavasa today chaired a meeting of revenue officers to review the progress on uploading of data of PM Kisan Scheme, besides writing and digitization of Jamabandies of Jammu District.

ADDC Jammu, Ramesh Kumar; Additional DC, (L&O), Minga Sherpa; ADC, Jammu, Satish Sharma; ACR, Piyush Dhotra; SDMs, Tehsildars and other concerned officers and officials were present in the meeting.

The Deputy Commissioner took a comprehensive and detailed review regarding the uploading of the data of revenue records of PM-KISAN scheme beneficiaries, completion of e-KYC and other formalities of the scheme.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the concerned revenue authorities to gear up the manpower to collect and upload data of all beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Scheme in their respective areas. She also stressed upon them to take all necessary steps to cover all eligible beneficiaries under the scheme.

Threadbare discussions were also held on the present status of the writing and digitization of Jamabandis besides steps being taken by the concerned revenue authorities to complete the process.

The Deputy Commissioner exhorted upon the Tehsildars to complete the ongoing process of digitization of land records in a time-bound manner.

The concerned Tehsildars also gave detailed reports regarding the present status of digitization work and the PM Kisan scheme.
