Deputy Mayor Jammu B.S.Billawarria inaugurate development works in Bahu Constituency

11-12-2022 : Deputy Mayor Jammu Baldev Singh Billawaria along with Swachh Bharat Committee Chairman Hardeep Mankotia, Corporator Jyoti Devi inaugurated the development works done in the park at ward 53 Trikuta Nagar in Bahu constituency. These development works include walking paths, open gym and lights inside the park. This development work was completed under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation with a cost of about 18 lakhs. Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria said that it is the mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi that the government should go to the doorstep to provide basic facilities instead of people going round the offices for work. Deputy Mayor Jammu inaugurated a gym at the park and said that “It is a pleasure to inaugurate this gym at the park. Physical fitness is essential for a healthy lifestyle, and this gym will provide people with the opportunity to stay active and healthy. It is my hope that this gym will be well used by the citizens and will help promote wellness in our community.” The mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to work together with all sections of the society to create a “New India”. He emphasizes on the need to bring about economic and social development in the country and ensure the welfare of all sections of the society. His vision is to make India a strong, prosperous, and self-reliant nation, where everyone has equal rights and opportunities. He has also laid out an agenda for the development of the nation by focusing on areas such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, financial inclusion, digitalization, and job creation. He said the construction of this footpath is the beginning of the beautification of the City and many such developmental works will be undertaken to make Jammu a world class City. He also congratulated the citizens of the area and hoped that they will continue to benefit from such development works. Deputy Mayor asked the people of Jammu to cooperate with the Jammu Municipal Corporation to make the City clean and green.

Swachh Bharat Committee Chairman Hardeep Mankotia said that this development is just because of the Councilor smt Jyoti Devi as she worked hard to give the benefits of developmental works to the general public of the said area. He further said that the Swachh Bharat Mission has been successful in providing a clean and hygienic environment to people and this development will also help in making the area cleaner and healthier. He thanked the Corporator Jyoti Devi and all the government officials who worked hard to make this development possible.
