Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers are on continued sit-in protest
Today on 17-01-2023 : Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers are on continued sit-in protest from 19 December 2022 outside BJP State Headquarter Trikuta nagar ,The protest continued from last 29 days but no written order or any government official come to visit the teachers who are called Nation buliders.Today the Rehbar-e-khel Physical education teachers held a peaceful protest at press colony Jammu.The teachers told press that we were protesting peacefully outside BJP office and on different locations like mute spectators from last 29 days, but nothing is positive for us ,so we all teachers decided to come on roads, and if our geniune demand will be not fulfilled within two days then LG administration will be holly and solly responsible if their will be anything untowards. The Protest will continue under the leadership of President jammu kashmir Rehbar-e-khel Teachers Association ,Mr Dheeraj Salaria till the legitimate demands are not fullfilled.
Rehbar-e-khel teachers continue their sit in protest outside the state BJP Headquarter Trikuta nagar Jammu to remind LG Shiri Manoj Sinha the promise which he committed with the rehbar –e-khel teachers delegation at Raj Bhavan Srinagar on 29-05-2022 and BJP President Ravinder Raina also framed a committee to resolve the issues of Rehbar-e-khel Teachers ,but the committee has not submitted its final report till date, REHBAR-E-KHEL Physical education teachers told press that they will continuous mega protest from Today till our legitimate demands are not fulfilled .
The LG administration has recently proposed to de-freeze the posts which were freezed for Rehber-e-khel teachers in the policy approved by cabinet.
Honourable LG G.C. MURMU formed a committee to find a way to ease the sufferings of Rehber-e-khel teachers (reduce probation period from 7 years to 5 years as per RET pattern and enhancement in salary) as it was technically next to impossible to survive on a meagre amount of Rs. 3000 per month. However, in a recent proposal given by the committee, they have proposed to send the vacant posts to recruiting agencies .
The LG administration has directed the department to implement the Order which were proposed by the committee which is against the policy and cabinet order of Rehbar-e-khel Teachers.
Rehber-e-khel Teachers perform duties with full zeal and enthusiasm in the department, but the present government denies justice to us . As per the policy the available vacancies of PET’s will be kept reserved for Rehbar-e-khel Teachers but the Govt is going to de-freeze the freezed posts , Which is totally injustice with Rehabar-e-khel Teachers.The demand of protest is immediate cancellation of O.M NO: GAD-/1/2021-02(13125) and minimization of probation period from 7 years to 5 years on RET pattern. The Rehbar-e-khel teachers, since their appointment are miserably suffering by protesting on roads. Several promises has been given to them from the government but not positive development is on record till date.
At last President Jammu Kashmir Rehbar-e-khel Teachers association Deeraj Salaria and Presidents of All the districts Narinder chib, Sanjeev Sharma,Showket wani, Mudeser Muzafer, Aashiq Rasool ,Shabaaz katoch,Rajinder kotwal, Raja Shafeeq khan,Sabzar Ahmad Lone,Sameer Ahmad Khan ,Javaid Ahmad ,Ayaz Ahmad,Tahir Ahmad, Imtiyaz Ahmad Etc beriefed that If LG Administration will not readress our demand soon ,then the protestors will march towards Delhi (centre) and will not stop until our demands not to be get fulfiled.All the Rehbar-e-khel Teachers from all the districts of J&K (UT) are participate in this mega protest .
