No one else but Rahul, Cong should seek apology from KPs for their ordeal: Purnima
JAMMU: In a hard hitting response to Rahul Gandhi’s statement that LG Manoj Sinha should apologize from Kashmiri Pandits (KPs), Advocate Purnima Sharma, Spokesperson BJP J&K retorted that no one else but the one leading the so-called Bharat Jodo Yatra and the Congress party should apologize from the community in exile for their unending ordeal as failed Kashmir Policy adopted at that time left the aboriginals of Valley in tatters.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP leader came in support of LG Manoj Sinha by saying that the Congress leader has nothing to say against the government in J&K and that is the reason behind concocting facts and telling lies to people to seek attention.
The J&K BJP Spokesperson said that the people of J&K and for that matter the entire country know well the truth behind the misery of people of this region and the ones who were responsible for the same. She said that the Congress cannot shift the blame of mishandling Kashmir by either moving on foot or changing narratives by attempts to befool the people. She said that BJP’s contribution towards alleviating Kashmiri Pandits sufferings and the Kashmir as whole is the history, as in one go the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the entire scenario by making the contentious Article 370 null and void. She said that problems in Kashmir are the gifts of Congress party and that is the reason the present dispensations both at Centre and in the UT are busy since the last many years to undo the mistakes committed by the oldest party of the country.
“It is advisable for Rahul not to find faults in others rather spend some time to introspect the mistakes of his own party which had led to present day gloom of KPs, who are living a life of refugees in their very own country”, she said adding, it is shameful that instead of feeling guilty, the Congress leader is finding faults in a person who had a unblemished political career and a vast experience as a statesman.
