Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Bahu Fort Jammu celebrate 646th Prakash Utsav of Sant Shromani Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj
06-02-2023 : Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Bahu Fort Jammu celebrated 646th Prakash Utsav of Sant Shromani Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj at Gurdwara Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj Bahu Fort, Jammu. Arti Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj was performed by students of Shri Sai Public School Sheikh Nagar Bahu Fort Jammu under the guidance of Col Mohan Lal. After amritvani path by pathi Ramesh ji, Langer prashad was started at 8.00AM. Main function was started at 3.00PM.
The students namey Urvashi, Umang, Sumaira Basson, Samaksh Basson,Khushi Kumari, Shubham Basson, Jiya Sharma, Mahi Basson, Arushi Kumari, Krishan Kumar, Shaweta Mehra delivered speeches and sang bhajans on life and mission Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj. The ladies of new basti Bahu fort jammu namely Smt Jeeto Devi, Pushpa Devi, Bholi Devi, Kanta Devi, Darshna Devi, Neeru Kalsi, Veero Devi, Neema Devi were honoured on this occasion. While speaking on this occasion Sham Lal Basson general secretary said we should follow the path shown by Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj. According to Guru ji the strongest wephon in this is world is education. Guru ji said ” Madho Avidhya hitt keen, Vivek deep maleen” saints and Bahujan social reformers always gave the message of Equality, brotherhood and Fraternity. Guru ji said,” Aaisa Chahun Raj Mein Jahan Mile Sabhan Ko Ann, Chhot Bado Sabh Samm Bassen Ravi Dass Rahen Prasann.
Everybody in this world irrespective of caste, creed and colour should have house, cloth and food. Col Vinod Kumar was special guest on this occasion. He also stressed on the need of education. He gave important message on this occasion to give quality education and to help poor students. The parents play important role for imparting education to children. Dr Sanjay Bhasin was also special guest on this occasion. Those who who were honoured on this occasion included Col Vinod Kumar, Dr Sanjay Bhasin, Prof GLThappa,Er Joginder Paul, Rajeev Charak, Baldev Raj Nargotra, Bahadur Lal,Sh Santokh Chand, Adv Gourav Sangral Santokh Chand, Raj Kour. The students who delivered speeches were also honoured. Mr Sonu Heer reknowned singer and his party also sang kratikari bhajans on this occasion and he was awarded on this occasion as Kaum Da Heera. More than 60 children who participated in prabhat pheries were also honoured with medals in presence of Monika ji, Jyoti Kalsi Babita Kalsi, Riya Kalsi, Cake cutting ceremony was performed by Kashish Kalsi daughter of late Sh Raj kalsi, his family members, Col Vinod Kumar, Dr Sanjay Bhasin, Dr Vijay Shivgotra, Monika Kumari, Sham Basson, Prof Chaman Lal Shivgotra etc. 32 sq ft cake was managed by Anita Kalsi w/o late Raj Kalsi, Kashish Kalsi D/o Raj Kalsi. Manohar Lal Alias Ballu had arranged big stall of banana’s for all devotees
The sound system was arranged by Sh Mangat Kalsi (Pappi) and his sons Kannu and Mannu. Deepmala was lit with 646 deeps by Monika, her son’s and other members. Dr Vijay Shivgotra, prof Chaman Lal Shivgotra prof G L Thappa, Er Joginder Paul also spoke on this occasion. The function was conducted under the President ship of Dr Vijay Shivgotra president of Sabha and also extended vote of thanks. Stage was decorated under the supervision of Monika ji. All those persons who made the function successful included Dr Vijay Shivgotra, Sham Kalsi, Vikas Kalsi, Mangat Kalsi, Rajesh Kumar, Suresh Bangotra (Rinku), Deepak Angral, Nitu Kalsi, Rajinder Kumar (Sanju), Sanjeev Bangotra (Gugu), Tej Ram Kalsi, Sham Hans, Subash Chander etc.
