Anti-Encroachment Drive Begins At Malik Market Amid Tight Security

Jammu, Feb 11: On Saturday, officials confirmed that an anti-encroachment drive had started at the Malik market in Jammu under strict security.

According to an official, the authorities have hired three JCBs to disassemble a vehicle showroom at the market.

The Union Territory administration initiated an eviction campaign against illegal encroachment by “large land owners” and “influential” individuals, and during the continuing anti-encroachment campaign in the Jammu division, almost 23,000 hectares had been retrieved.
