Fatal Collision in Jammu: One Man Killed, Another Injured

10-04-2023: A fatal accident occurred in the outskirts of Jammu city in Kanhachak area, resulting in the death of one man and serious injuries to another. According to the police, Krishan Singh, a resident of Thathi, Gharota, was traveling on his motorcycle from Jammu to Akhnoor when his vehicle collided head-on with a scooty coming from the opposite direction near Dumi .

The impact of the collision was so severe that Singh suffered critical injuries and passed away, while the scooty rider, Joginder Kumar, also from Gharota, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The police have registered a case and after completing legal formalities, handed over the deceased’s body to his family for the last rites.
