Shiv Sena seek LG for free registration , warned for nationwide agitation

Demand for Toll exemption and free tent arrangement was also raised.

JAMMU : Shiv Sena(Uddhav Bala Saheb Thackeray)  Jammu and Kashmir unit has appealed to the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who is also the Chairman of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, to immediately issue instructions for making Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra registration free , toll exemption to vehicles carrying Yatris and free tent service for devotees at the holy cave shrine.
A group of party leaders led by Shiv Sena state chief Manish Sahni reached  Raj Bhavan to submit a memorandum to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir regarding above demands.
While addressing media persons before proceeding to Raj Bhawan , Manish Sahni said that We are residents of the country where  subsidies was given for religious pilgrimages, some state governments are running free pilgrimage scheme.
But in the reign of those who claim to be Hinduists the Jizya (tax) of Rs 220/- which is being collected in the name of online registration from the devotees coming from all over the country for the annual Shri Amarnath Yatra in union territory Jammu-Kashmir,  which is reliving the memories of the Mughal era.
Sahni said that along with the registration  , toll is collected from passenger vehicles and not only this even those doing social and charitable work by holding various facilitating camps with provision of free food and stay for Yatris are not spared. He said that such stance of the Govt is reminiscent of the Mughal period when Hindus were forcibly made to pay Jizya.
Sahni made a fervent appeal to all the Hindu organizations across the country to raise their voice in every nook and corner  in their respective states to make darshan and worship completely free at all the religious places of the country.
Sahni said in a warning tone that if a decision is not taken in favor of their above demands, Shiv Sainiks will come out on the streets all over the country.
Sahni warned of nationwide agitation if the above demands were not accepted.
  On this occasion, President Women’s Wing Meenakshi Chhibber, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Senior Vice President Sanjeev Kohli, Chairman Advisor Shiv Sharma, President Kamgar Raj Singh, Titu Sehgal, secretary Mamta Devi , Mangu Ram Rakesh Bali were present.
