Inclusion of PoK in India is the only permanent solution for LOC: DM Rajnath Singh
We cannot allow China to act unilaterally on LAC under any circumstances.

New Delhi, 05 November: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday directly challenged Pakistan, saying that PoK is a territory of India, unless it is reunited with India, the LoC cannot be a permanent solution. Pakistan does not have the right to take any unilateral action in Gilgit-Baltistan and PoK. PoK does not have any right over Pakistan just by unlawful capture. Today, the Air Force has come to battle aircraft like Rafale, which has increased our strength to respond to any challenge to India’s sovereignty, integrity, border security.
The Defense Minister said in a webinar on the topic ‘Bharat Ki Baat: Borders and Our Neighbors’ that today’s topic is very sensitive and also related to national security, so it would not be possible for me to say a lot openly. But I can share some things with you which will give you full confidence that the country is in safe hands. India believes that Jammu and Kashmir never belonged to Pakistan and it has an illegal occupation of PoK and Gilgit-Baltistan. Taking advantage of this illegitimate, he is now going to make Gilgit-Baltistan the state of Pakistan. He said that a unanimous resolution has been passed in the Parliament of India regarding PoK that it is the only part of India. The boundary dispute between India and Pakistan will be fully resolved only after PoK is integrated with India.
The Defense Minister said that there were two wars between India and Pakistan in 1965 and 1971 in which Pakistan had to face defeat. These defeats proved to the rulers of Pakistan that they were in a state of full-scale war with India. Against terrorism, the brave soldiers of our army are doing the task of destroying terrorist targets, going beyond the borders, if needed within the country’s borders. Today Pakistan has understood that now it is not in a position to do much in the Kashmir Valley. Especially since the abolition of Article 370, Pakistan has become so angry that it has now made a plan to completely capture its occupied PoK.
Rajnath Singh said that the Indian Army has taken such drastic action against terrorism by Balakot Air Strike, which is not an example at least in the history of India. Pakistan’s model of terrorism against India is slowly collapsing. Because of this Pakistan is so shocked that now they are engaged in ceasefire violation on the border. Pakistan does not have the right to take any unilateral action in Gilgit-Baltistan and PoK. PoK does not have any right over Pakistan just by unlawful capture.
On the issue of China, the Defense Minister said that there is a perceptual difference between India-China on the border. Despite this, there are some agreements and protocols that the forces of the two countries patrol with the LAC. The problem on the LAC is when the Chinese military ignores the agreed protocol. We cannot allow the PLA to act unilaterally in any way. India’s forces are fully capable of protecting the borders and the ocean. He has received full support and encouragement from the government. It is our priority to equip them with modern technology and weapons so that there is complete peace on the border. He said that five Rafale aircraft have joined the Indian Air Force. Last night, three more Rafale aircraft have reached Indian soil which will also be inducted into the Air Force fleet soon. (HC)
