J&K on path of unprecedented development: Kavinder

AHMEDABAD,01-06-2023: Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing unprecedented development under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta while interacting with media persons on his arrival at Ahmedabad on Thursday.

The BJP stalwart leader said the commitment of the Central Government towards the development of the Union Territory with its numerous innovative steps have started yielding tangible results. He said that despite criticism of all sorts by the adversaries both from inside and abroad, the government have a green signal to the G20 tourism working group meeting in J&K’s summer capital Srinagar, and ensured its successful conduct giving a befitting response to those who wanted disruptions in this international event which the J&K hosted for the first time after the abrogation of Article 370.

“This was a tight slap on the face of those criticizing the Modi Government over its failure in restoring normalcy”, Kavinder said, adding that the entire world is watching today that Kashmir’s lost pristine glory is back and the paradise is buzzing with tourists from across the globe. He said that a record number of visitors and tourists have visited heaven on earth, exactly speaking it is 1.8 crore till last month.

“This is all time highest record in this period of the year and the pace of more arrivals of tourists is also the testimony to the fact that Kashmir is marching ahead on the path of growth and progress”, he said adding that every single countryman is today witnessing equitable growth and development across all sectors, be it education, healthcare facilities, seamless online services, power upgradation, road network, regular piped water supply, etc.

Kavinder said that film producers have thronged Valley and other parts of the UT, and are busy completing their projects with regard to documentaries, etc showcasing to one and all that good old days have returned in J&K only because of the out-of-the-box initiatives taken by Modi Government.  He said that today J&K is free from terror and tragedies and the credit for all this goes to PM Modi.
