Sagar seeks effective amenities for devotees during Urs observance of Hazrat Sultan-ul-Arifeen (RA)
Tanvir Sadiq asks admin to work closely with shrine management for ensuring hassle free Urs days
Srinagar, 28 Aug: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar on Monday sought effective arrangements for the upcoming Urs observance Days of Hazrat Mehboob-Ul-Aalam Sheikh Hamza Maqdoomi (RA).
In a statement released from the party headquarters Nawai Subha, Sagar said, “The shrine of Makhdoom sahib is the epicentre of the faith of people, who visit the revered shrine to seek blessings. The revered shrine witnesses an increased footfall of the devotees during the urs days, making it imperative for the district administration to step up the arrangements and facilities. It is expected that the divisional and district administration along with its line departments will work in tandem and ensure all basic and effective amenities to the devotees. Adequate drinking water and power supply, transport facilities, medicare should be ensured in and around the shrine premises. The transport authorities should ensure adequate transport facilities for the devotees during odd hours so that the people visiting the shrine would safely reach their respective destinations. Sanitation and cleanliness should be maintained during the urs days by the concerned municipal authorities.”
Party’s Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq has also impressed on the local administration to work closely with the shrine management to ensure all possible facilities to the devotees.
