Narendra Modi Announces Fresh Garba Song Composition for Upcoming Navratri Celebrations

14-10-2023 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Saturday that he has written a new Garba song over the past few days and plans to share it with the public during the upcoming Navratri festival. He also expressed his gratitude to artistes Dhvani Bhanushali and Tanishk Bagchi, as well as the Jjust Music team, for their musical rendition of a Garba song he had penned years ago.

In a post on social media platform X, PM Modi thanked Dhvani Bhanushali, Tanishk Bagchi, and the Jjust Music team for their rendition of his earlier Garba song, stating that it brought back many memories. He mentioned that although he hasn’t written songs in many years, he managed to compose a new Garba song in the last few days, which he will share with the public during the Navratri festival.

Navratri is a Hindu festival that spans nine nights and is set to begin on October 15. During this festival, Garba, a traditional Gujarati dance, is a popular form of celebration.

The Prime Minister’s post was in response to Dhvani Bhanushali, who had shared the musical rendition on X. She expressed her admiration for the Garba song penned by PM Modi and mentioned that they aimed to create a song with a fresh rhythm, composition, and flavor. With the help of Jjust Music, they brought the song and video to life.

In another social media post, PM Modi shared pictures from his recent visit to Uttarakhand, inviting people to explore the state’s natural beauty and divinity. He recommended a visit to Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Temples in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, which he described as a place that would leave visitors spellbound with its natural beauty and spiritual significance. The Prime Minister acknowledged that Uttarakhand offers many well-known places worth visiting, including the sacred sites of Kedarnath and Badrinath, which have been among his most memorable experiences. Returning to Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Temples after many years was particularly special for him.

This announcement from PM Modi and his expression of appreciation for the musical rendition demonstrate his commitment to engaging with various forms of art and culture in India.
