Govt asks DDOs to ensure contribution towards Armed Forces Flag Day Fund

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 25: The government has asked all the Treasury Officers to impress upon the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) operating treasuries to ensure a donation to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund by all their employees.

As per a circular issued today in this regard by the Finance department, the minimum rate of donation has been fixed at Rs 100 for Gazetted Officers and Rs 40 for Non ¬Gazetted Officials to be deducted from their salaries for the month of December 2020.

The amount of donation shall be remitted through Cheque/ Bank Draft to Armed Forces Flag Day c/o Director Sainik Welfare, Jammu and Kashmir Government, Amphalla, Jammu.
