GDC Dudu Basantgarh’s World AIDS Day Event Highlights Community Empowerment
Dudu Basantgarh, 01-12-2023: The Red Ribbon club of GDC Dudu Basantgarh organized an impactful event on World Aids Day centered around the theme “Let communities lead”. Prof . Anirudh Sharma Principal of the college spoke on the occasion shedding light on the pivotal role communities play in tackling the challenges passed by HIV/AIDS. He emphasized the importance of community-led initiatives in creating awareness, dispelling myths, and promoting a supportive environment for those affected by the deadly disease.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students showcasing a collective commitment to understanding and addressing the issues surrounding HIV/AIDS. We must empower communities to take charge in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The involvement of the communities is crucial in shaping effective strategies, reducing stigma, and fostering an inclusive environment for those living with the issues. The college aims to contribute to the global effort to end HIV/AIDS issue.
