Shiv Sena submitted memorandum to  CS, seek  reservation for local in CUET 2024 exams

 Jammu:- Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit today submitted a Memorandum to the chief secretary of J&K regarding the demand to determine the examination centers of Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-2024 at the state and district level and to give preference in admission to local students.

Party UT J&K president Manish Sahni along with Vice president Sanjeev Kohli today met with the  Sh. Atal Dullu (IAS), Chief Secretary of Kashmir submitted a memorandum regarding the above demands.

Sahni said that the local students should have the first right to admission in colleges and universities of every state and union territory including Jammu and Kashmir.  Along with this, Sahni demanded to determination of the CUET examination centers at the state and district levels.

 He said that in 2023, around 24,000 students of Jammu and Kashmir had found CUET exam centers in other states.  Due to this, the students had to face a lot of problems, hundreds of students could not even reach the examination centers. Sahni said that the Chief Secretary assured to consider the above demands.
