Union Budget has brought no relief to common man, J&K left out in giving  special focus – Ravinder Sharma

Jammu, 22-07-2024: JKPCC has termed the Union Budget as short of expectations of poor and common man who are suffering under unprecedented price rise and unemployment, besides Jammu and Kashmir has not been given the special focus it required because of peculiar situations being faced by the people of J&K.

Reacting to the budget JKPCC Sr. Vice President and Chief Spokesperson Mr. Ravinder Sharma said that the union budget has lacked focus on the worst suffering people of Jammu and Kashmir who are facing the brunt of militancy for several years. The unemployment is record high of the last 45 years besides trade, Industries and Transporting besides farmers are worst affected during this turmoil. The union budget has taken care of certain states on political considerations but left out J&K in giving special focus on J&K which required more focus in all sectors in view of the prevailing situation and political uncertainty.

The overall budget has failed to come up to the expectations of the common man and different sections in the unprecedented price escalations, he added that unemployed youth and daily wagers, contractual, temporarily engaged youth under various schemes besides pensioners should have been given relief by way of economic package for the regularization all such categories in this militancy infested region.
