SRINAGAR, Aug 28: The Peoples Conference (PC) has announced its first set of seven candidates for the forthcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. The announcement was officially approved by the party president, Sajad Gani Lone.

The list includes:

1. 1. Abdul Gani Vakil – Running from Rafiabad
   2. Nazir Ahmad Laway – Running from Kulgam
   3. Abid Hussain Ansari – Running from Zadibal
   4. Irfan Matto – Running from Eidgah
   5. Dr. Bashir Ahmad Chalkoo – Running from Uri
   6. Asif Lone – Running from Baramulla
   7. Mohd Hamza Lone – Running from Gurez
