Abhinav terms Farooq Abdullah as ‘Master of U-turns’, ‘Chameleon’ by nature

JAMMU,23-10-2024: Abhinav Sharma, Spokesperson BJP J&K unit today termed Dr Farooq Abdullah as ‘Master of U-turns’ and a ‘Chameleon’ by nature claiming that NC leader changes colours with the change in situations and places.

In a statement issued to media persons, the senior BJP leader said that the person who was once the hardcore supporter of India-Pakistan dialogue has suddenly taken a U-Turn soon after his party came to power in J&K by giving a clarion call that there should be no talks between the two countries until the western neighbour of the country will stop abetting terrorism.

“Isn’t it a political gimmick by the National Conference leader, who was advocating for the talks between the two nations a few days back with a claim that all the issues can be solved through dialogue? Now, when the NC is at driving seat in J&K, this man is a totally changed personality, which shows the duplicity of his character and the non-seriousness towards the nation because the ultimate aim of Dr Farooq Abdullah was, is and will be to attain power”, he said, adding that this stand taken by the NC leader has exposed badly hypocrisy and deceitfulness possessed by him and his party.

Abhinav Sharma said that the people of Jammu region have understood this deception of Dr Farooq and that is the reason behind NC and its partner Congress’ debacle in Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Jammu region.

The senior BJP leader questioned the NC leader to come clear on the issue and tell the people once and for all that whether India should talk with Pakistan or the stand taken by the Modi Government on this matter is perfectly alright?
