A view of the after fresh snowfall in Basantgarh

The famous Dudu Basantgarh valley has experienced the season’s first snowfall as moderate to heavy snow disrupting normal life as per the reports. Snowfall ranging from five inches to over three feet has accumulated at various places, especially maximum in Shiv Gali Area, Khaned, Loudhra, Khadewa, and other its adjoining areas.

The snowfall threw life out of gear in the Dudu Basantgarh areas as the day temperature in the area plummeted several degrees, while the night temperature also marked a dip to settle at near to minus degree Celsius.

 The local administration has pressed men and machinery to clear the roads at various places, along with other necessary and urgent arrangements such as electricity supply, road connectivity, water supply, etc. as per the reports. All down the line departments are kept on high alert to meet any eventuality.
