Mumbai, Sep 15: Social media buzz over Aamir Khan allegedly regretting his role in Rajinikanth’s blockbuster ‘Coolie’ has been officially debunked. The actor’s team dismissed circulating reports as “completely false” and clarified that Aamir holds the highest regard for Rajinikanth, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the entire ‘Coolie’ team.

The controversy erupted after a newspaper clipping suggested that Aamir was unhappy with his role in the film. In response, Aamir Khan Productions released a statement on Instagram, calling the supposed interview “fake” and confirming that Aamir has given no such remarks.

Interestingly, the production house revealed that Aamir has not yet watched ‘Coolie’, as director Lokesh Kanagaraj wanted to be present during his first viewing. Despite this, Aamir acknowledged the film’s massive success, which has crossed ₹500 crore at the box office, marking it as one of the biggest hits of the year.

The clarification has reassured fans and put an end to speculation, highlighting Aamir’s respect for his co-star and the project while setting the record straight about the misleading reports.
