AAP leaders pay tributes to Ambedkar, remember Baba Saheb’s contribution towards underprivileged

SUCHETGARH: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders on Wednesday paid rich tributes to Bhim Rao Ambedkar here at village Jagwal in Suchetgarh area.
Taranjit Singh Tony, Chairman Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu and Kashmir for Administrative Engagement and Minority Affairs, and DDC Member Suchetgarh, while remembering Baba Saheb recalled his contribution towards uplifting the underprivileged sections of the society and providing them justice by means of Indian Constitution. He said that such luminaries are rare in the history of the world, who had worked all through their lives to ensure justice to poor and deprived strata of the society.
It is pertinent to mention that AAP is organizing week-long events to celebrate Ambedkar Jayanti and today’s programme was also the part of the same. The event was organized by Sarpanchs Tilak Raj Bhagat, Shashi Bhagat and Sarfo Devi.
Taranjit demanded relief for the farmer community hit by recent incessant rains, he appealed to the administration to assess the losses and release the compensation as soon as possible.
Yashpal Kundal, Chairman ST, SC OBC Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu and Kashmir and former minister, while paying tributes to Baba Saheb, made a fervent appeal to the people not to sell their votes as this right was granted to them after long struggle by father of the Indian Constitution. He appealed to the people to exercise their right of franchise after thorough deliberations making it sure that their votes bring revolutionary changes in the society and not help the corrupt to denigrate the society as was the case in the past many elections in J&K. He said that masses should use their voting right to select and elect the right candidate.
AAP leader Amit Kapoor said that there is a big nexus between education mafia and the government. He said that some private schools in connivance corrupt officials are fleecing the gullible parents on one pretext or the other. He said that AAP will not allow this to continue and asked people to support his party to put an end to such corrupt practices being carried out under BJP regime.
Sham Lal Bhagat, Prem Dogra and Bhagwan Choudhary also spoke on the occasion.
