Abhimanyu Kalsotra who qualified JKAS exam hoisted flag at Republic Day celebrations
Jammu, 27.01.23: Resham Ghar Colony Welfare Committee organised Republic Day Celebration today at Resham Ghar. Abhimanyu Kalsotra who secured 17th rank in recently declared JKPSC KAS 2021 examination hoisted the flag during the Republic Day celebration. Vishal Shoor, SHO Bakshi Nagar, Jammu was present at the celebration and congratulated Abhimanyu on his achievement. Abhimanyu Kalsotra is a graduate from St Stephens College, Delhi and completed masters from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) , Delhi. Abhimanyu said that Republic day not only established India as a democracy but a constitutional democracy. It is the Constitution of India which unites India and it is our duty to strengthen it.
People in large numbers joined the celebration for the flag hoisting ceremony. National anthem was also sung after the hoisting of the flag. Sweets were distributed among all those present. Shiv Kumar Sharma, President Mohalla Welfare Committee also presented mementos and felicitated Abhimanyu Kalsotra and Vishal Shoor.
Other dignitaries who participated were, Raghunandhan Bali, R K Kalsotra, Sardar Ishar Singh, Ashwani Sharma, Sardar Joginder Singh, Tilak Raj Sharma, Ramesh Bamba, Ranjeev Bhasin, Satish Sabharwal and others.
