ACB Conducts Raid at Deputy CM’s Brother’s Residence in Jammu DA Case
Search Operation Underway at Santokh Vihar Residence; Official Details Awaited
Jammu, Feb 25: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday conducted a search at the residence of Vijay Chaudhary, brother of the Deputy Chief Minister, in connection with a disproportionate assets case, according to sources.
The raid began around 6:00 am at his house in the Santokh Vihar area of Talo Kalo Chak in Jammu and was still in progress at the time of reporting.
Vijay Chaudhary, an Inspector in the Jammu and Kashmir Police, was transferred to Ladakh in September last year and is currently under suspension, sources said.
Authorities have yet to issue an official statement outlining the specifics of the allegations. Further details are expected once the ongoing search operation concludes.
