Actor says Prime Minister’s leadership and respect for artists left a strong impression during their meetings
Kochi, Mar 12: Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him a “true statesman” and a “visionary leader” whose commitment to the nation is inspiring.
Speaking on the Mohanlal praises PM Modi segment of the podcast hosted on the MyGovIndia platform, the actor said he had been fortunate to meet the Prime Minister several times and had always felt the presence of a strong and forward-looking leader.
According to Mohanlal, Modi’s dedication to the country and his ability to navigate crises demonstrate clarity of vision and leadership. He added that the Prime Minister’s approach to governance and resilience during challenging situations offers lessons that people can learn from and apply in their own lives.
The actor also spoke about his personal interactions with Modi, saying he felt honoured to be invited to the Prime Minister’s residence. During those meetings, he experienced the warmth and respect shown by the Prime Minister towards artists and creative professionals, which he described as memorable.
Mohanlal said such gestures reflect Modi’s appreciation for the role of art and culture in society and strengthen the bond between the creative community and national leadership.
